Sous Chef & Commis Chef – Tank Bar

Friendly, hardworking and passionate Commis Chef and Sous Chef required for Howling Hops Brewery’s Tank Bar Kitchen in Hackney Wick.

What we need from you:
We are looking for a full time Sous Chef and full time Commis Chef to join our team. During the summer months Hackney Wick is buzzing with people enjoying great beer and tasty food. We are a fresh food kitchen, meaning we do not freeze anything or use a microwave. Everything we prepare is made from scratch, which makes it damnnnnn tasty!

We require experienced chefs with a good attitude and a willingness to learn and get stuck in. It’s a small kitchen team (and kitchen) so we need you to work hard with the team to deliver great food each and every time.

A fun and bustling environment to work in, in the heart of Hackney Wick. Opportunities to contribute to the development of a new menu and the freedom to create new dishes on a weekly basis. You’ll be joining a small team that are super passionate about creating amazing flavours and tasty dishes.


The boring (but totally necessary) stuff: The kitchen is open 7 days a week. Minimum 40 hours per week. £10 p/h for Commis Chef and £11 p/h for Sous Chef.
